On March 17, 2021, the eighth transnational meeting of the project participants FlexWBL: “Development of a flexible, innovative and practical framework for Work-based Learning in higher education of Armenia and Russia” was held on the MS Teams platform with the support of the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Erasmus + culture (project no. 610072-EPP-1-2019-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).

On November 20, 2020, a meeting of the Coordinating Body for the formation and functioning of innovative infrastructure in the sphere of higher and related additional professional education of the Ministry of Science and higher education of the Russian federation was held, where the application of Tver state university was recommended to create a “Center for digital pedagogical support of education, combined with work, taking into account the European practices of the WBL” to assign the status of a Federal innovation platform for a period of 5 years.

At the beginning of a new academic year 2020/2021 partners met to discuss adjustment of project functions and activities under complicated pandemic conditions of COVID19 aggravated by absence of face to face exchanges among partners

Consortium members gathered to discuss implementation of FlexWBL project. Latvian and Lithuanian Partners met face-to-face other partners joined online via Microsoft Teams platform. Project coordinator announced launching of FlexWBL Youtube channel which will be used as one more dissemination tool. Unfortunately pandemic situation has slowed down some project activities. For example more time is needed to work out the final concept of WBL framework.

On July 31, 2020 representatives of consortium universities met online to discuss project progress. The meeting started with project management issues covered by Liepaja University – project Coordinator. In the frame of Dissemination issues DSTU updated partners on project website development: website structure, status of content collection, design, etc.

FlexWBL partners took part in the second international online seminar within the framework of the Erasmus + program project “Development of a flexible, innovative and practical framework for Work-based Learning in higher education of Armenia and Russia” on 18th -19th of June

The meeting was organized by Liepaja University. Most of Partners attended the meeting online via Microsoft Teams platform, except for colleagues from Klaipeda University (Lithuania) who had possibility to travel between Baltic countries at that time of pandemic restrictions.

The VIII INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “Problems of management of socio-economic systems: theory and practice” was held, with the participation of Minsk Innovation University (Belarus), University Liepaja (Latvia) and Yerevan State University of Languages and Social Sciences (Armenia) on May 23, 2020, at the Institute of Economics and Management (organized by the Department of Enterprise Economics and Management).

The monitoring began on 30th of April 2020. Under the conditions of COVID-19 it was conducted in the online format via e-mail communication. Russian partners filled in the NEO Russia questionnaire, then replied to the arising questions and clarified some points by providing evidences and requested documents. The Monitoring lasted for two months and resulted in NEO Russia feedback in June.

PSU will take part in the implementation of a project aimed at developing an innovative, practice-oriented training system based on the work-based learning strategy – a training system combined with work, in which training involves orientation to the labor market and interaction with enterprises from different sectors of the economy.
