On December 16-20, Yerevan took part in the first organizational meeting of the participants of the project “Development of a flexible, innovative and practical framework for Work-based Learning in higher education of Armenia and Russia”.

Perm University was represented by Vice-Rector for research and innovation Andrey Vetrov, head of academic projects office Natalya Dobrynina and project manager Anna Peisakhovich.

PSU takes part in the project together with universities in Europe, Armenia and Russia: Liepaja University (Latvia), Klaipeda University (Lithuania), National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, Gavar State University (Armenia), Brusov state university (Armenia), Tver State University, Roshydromet Advanced Training Institute and Don State Technical University.

The goal of the project is to introduce work-based learning (WBL) into the higher education systems of Russia and Armenia to improve the level of competencies of graduates and their compliance with the requirements of the labor market.

At the meeting, the participants discussed the European concept of training combined with work, the main stages of the project, as well as management and quality assurance issues.
