WBL labs aim and objectives:

Each partner university establishes a WBL lab creating new learning environment with:

 (1) capabilities and expertise for launching and involvement of HE teachers and experts in European WBL framework in HE at regional and national level;

(2) promoting the best possible collaboration of partners at regional and national level for the successful implementation/ dissemination and exploitation of the work plan;

(3) engaging other HEIs and national stakeholders in the project.

(4) testing of WBL Framework

Activation of WBL Labs will give a boost to university-labour market cooperation. WBL Labs will present WBL approach to the academic and the wider economic and social society in the course of their activities.

The Work-Based Learning Labs team will work to embed and enhance work-based learning opportunities for students and implement WBL framework developed in the frame of FlexWBL project.

Work-based learning opportunities offer real work contexts to explore career paths, apply academic learning, develop technical skills, and build a professional network. Work-based learning opportunities also provide young people with the perspective to make important academic and career decisions, develop a deeper sense of their passions, and build their workforce readiness.

WBL labs established by Partner universities and their partner enterprises are working closely with HE authorities and other employers, help to develop demonstrations, or scalable strategies, to grow quality work-based learning opportunities for students.

Through committed and collaborative partnerships, WBL labs are identifying and demonstrating effective work-based learning programs in high school.
